Echo's Promise

Donate your extra blankets to Echo’s Promise to be distributed to rescue organizations, shelters and veterinarian hospitals.

Echo's Promise was started in early 2012 by Connie Langford. Connie wanted to find a way to give back and also help animals in either shelters, vets offices, and rescues. Connie's basenji, Echo, was mauled at a dog park and was at the VCA hospital for 2 weeks. She had emergency surgery after they had stabilized her that night. She sustained several serios injuries. Echo is alive and well today because of the VCA Hospital. Connie thought about how hard it was for Echo to be there for that 2 weeks. She got to thinking about all those animals that need some comfort while sick, injured or just waiting for a forever home and how much a blanket to lay on would make their stay just that much better!

Echo's Promise accepts any type of animal bedding such as towels, blankets, throws and dog beds. They don't have to be new. So clean out your linen closet or visit a local thrift store or yard sale. This is an easy way to help out animals in need.

Bring them to any club meeting or deliver to any member that attends the monthly meetings. Contact Connie at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you have any questions or would like to make a donation.
